In its program, KAI aims to provide means for access by marginalized and poor but active/creative people to small loans and financial services so that they can obtain a steady income and secure future, through stable sources of livelihood. This new approach highlights the importance of vocational education in bridging the labor-sufficiency gap in Uganda’s job market.
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Vocational education has been identified as one of the most important cures to unemployment in Uganda. The job market in Uganda is increasingly demanding for a practical approach as opposed to theoretical knowledge. This new approach highlights the importance of vocational education in bridging the labor-sufficiency gap in Uganda’s job market.
